Last year, for my students - and the other 1200 students who take courses at the Derby Entrepreneurship Center - I created a short video about “The Marketing of Me". I tested it out this fall in a 30-minute speech I made to 300 parents on Parent’s Weekend. It was fun to give, and it resonated well. I strongly believe that if I cannot prepare these young women and men for jobs that they both love and for which they are being well paid, I shouldn’t be teaching.
